Any help is appreciated, even if your not sure let us know what you heard if your picking up traffic on any of these frequencies.

Brumley Mtn in is on the Washington, Russell County line near the HWY 58 and HWY 19 intersection. Whitetop Mtn is located just northeast of the extreme north eastern Tennessee. Johnson City refers to Johnson City, TN. Stone Mtn is just north of Abingdon, VA. Moccasin Gap is on the Russell, Washington county line west of US 19 and East of Gate City. High Knob is located on the Scott, Wise County line, southeast of Norton. Holston Mtn refers to the US 421 Gap at the intersection of the Appalachian Trail.

You don’t need to be close to my listening locations to id the frequencies, that’s just where the unidentified frequencies were initially monitored from. The map to the right depicts the genral area that these frequencies may be from. Note: Those monitored from Whitetop may extend much further into North Carolina. Tone refers to CTCSS or DCS if your scanner can decode these.

system identifier.
